Its been a long long time now. Too long i guess. Think in the gap, I'd have opened this page just once, wrote something, and then decided not to post it. I seem to have developed an addiction to the sound the keyboard makes, when you tap on it. Can't seem to get enough of it. Thanks to Firefox, I didn't have to struggle to find what my login or blog id was, or maybe its thanks to gmail i guess. Since, this space permits you to write out any damn bullshit that crosses your head right now, here goes nothing.
Just finished a movie, at the last hour of what's left of my weekend. What is happening on the 60x80 dot on the Indian ocean? Its awfully quiet out here. Throughout the last three days, I haven't heard a bit of activity happening anywhere near my house. And mind you, I don't stay in a remote corner of the island. This happens to be the, well supposedly, the business center of the island. And come the weekend, there's no tussle, no bustle, no noise, no activity, no nothing. That last bit was a double negative, I am quite aware of it, but its just to stress on the level of quietness. Yes, for some the peace and tranquility is a wonderful thing, some don't have it. Some don't get it at all. But trust me, too much of anything, and I mean it, anything is harmful. I longed for the peace and quiet 8 months ago. I couldn't stand the noise, the crowd (still can't stand crowd), the traffic. But now, what has happened?? I am bored of this silence. I would like a bit of noise. Some spice in life. Some masala. CHANGE.. Maybe its time for another change. Maybe it isn't. Well i guess time will tell.
Think I'll hit the sack now.. got a long week ahead.. same ol story.. You must realize the fact that work is the same, no matter where you are....

life...
Man, has always been trying to understand the meaning of life, its purpose, the reason, the origin, but so far, we have only beliefs. And everybody claims to know the real purpose or the reason behind life. Or they just force themselves to believe something, that they don't know for sure.
For some the purpose of life, is to live in this world, keeping the neighbours happy and content, and multiplying. Why do we multiply, maybe the day, man figures out the mysteries of "life", the world would just end. The multiplying would probably stop. And the wars would end. The race for the so-called world domination would come to a stop. There will be absolutely nothing worth living for then. Probably at that moment, one can start thinking of death. Life and death, go hand in hand i guess. We don't know the real purpose or the reason behind both of them. And i guess the two co exist in harmony as long as we don't know anything about it. And it will stay that way only till that day, when man understands life and death. When you figure out either one of them, the other will take over, and in a short period of time, everything will come to a total shut down.
The end of days is near, but due to a very different reason. Man is in the process of killing himself. The present day activities of human beings are suicidal. Everybody wants to live in comfort, but they are all glued on to a quick and fast and instant concept of comfort, and think of the side effects, the after effects, only when its affected them. When oil prices all over the world are sky rocketing, suddenly man realises that, there is something known as global warming. Suddenly people started noticing the climate change. When islands start getting washed off, when cities got submerged, when people living comfortably, suddenly became refugees, global warming awareness was born. I don't see a difference between the refugees of war and the refugees of natural calamities. In fact, both are man made. But on the other hand, we are still multiplying. Maybe my generation would have to live through an extreme weather of only 46 deg Celsius, without an air conditioner, but what about the ones that are being born now. We are in fact, slowly but gradually building a furnace for our future generations. When the internal combustion engine was developed, they made the furnace for us, in which we are living. We make a furnace, and to compensate the heat, we make the air conditioner. But ultimately, both are paving way for the larger furnace - the future of earth. Thankfully, there are still some frozen water on earth, which would make sure, we don't die of the heat, but of water. Will earth become a large water balloon?
May be in my future blogs I should take up the topic "is the human race suicidal unconciously?"
